From 4 to 14 December 2016, three Tunisian representatives, youth workers, took part in the partnership-building seminar ICE2: International Cooperation Evolution 2 in Poiana Negrii, Romania. The meeting brought together 36 young people from 12 European and Arab countries to exchange good practices and expertise and, above all, to create future projects and sustainable partnerships.
Association La Voix de l’Enfant Rural (Médenine–Tunisia) had the chance to relive this experience for the second year running with the organising association D.G.T, strengthening cooperation between Tunisian and Romanian civil society, especially in youth mobility. Mr Anis Saada, the association’s president, says: “The experience was rich; we represented our country and our culture to young people from different countries. We exchanged ideas, made friendships and discovered Romania’s beautiful scenery. We also succeeded in developing future projects to be carried out in 2017.” The project was funded by the Erasmus+ programme, which supports various youth initiatives.
