Label’zik is an artistic project that offers 18 young people their ages between 15 and 30 years old an opportunity to construct their bridges between their bodies, their minds and their emotions. Through the pedagogical support that creates an environment conducive to the birth and development of artistic projects, two workshops, one in the techniques of the universe scenic and the other in the learning techniques of 5 different styles of dance (Salsa, Zumba, Hip-Hop, Break-Dance, Indian) both offer candidates a cultural diversity expressed artistically by them on the main scene, in the first dance festival that will be the first step towards positive cultural change in Medenine.

From the19th to the 22nd of October, our candidates held their first dance workshop (HipHop, Zumba) in the youth compound of Medenine where they learned the different techniques for each style. They continued on the 5th and the 6th of November with SALSA style, a shift to another culture. On the 12th and 13th of November, our candidates had the chance to visit India but with their dancing bodies. The closing of the dance workshop activity with the latest Break-Dance style that took us to the 70’s in America was at the19th and 20th of November. The Countdown continues towards the big show which await the candidates, the big scene is waiting for their performances and the public who are eager to attend the first dance festival. The ambitious project “Festival label’zik” will soon open its doors and brings hope to our young artists who are aspiring to conquer cities, public spaces and streets by art.
