The recruitment of administrative officer for 6 months

The Voice of the Rural Child Association was founded in 2011.It works mainly on rural
rural children, youth and rural women, through three main axes: (1) education; (2) youth mobility; and (3) the social economic solidarity. The Education Department mission is to defend the rights of the child among which the cultural right. This department is now preparing to launch its new project, “Puppets on the Way”, which will take place in two governorates (Medenine, Tataouine (Rmeda)) whose objective is to promote social and cultural diversity, socio-cultural integration of children. This project is supported by the Tfanen-Tunisia creative program, funded by the European Union within the framework of the Support Program for the Culture Sector in Tunisia (PACT), implemented by the British Council in partnership with the EUNIC network (National Cultural Institutes of the European Union).

To better contribution to fulfill its goals, The Voice of the Rural Child recruits:
An Administrative Officer

 

  • Duration of contract: 6 months part-time job starts from September 2017
  • Working hours: 4 hours / day (with 4 days off / month)
  • Position based in Medenine / Business trips outside Medenine (Tataouine)
  • Remuneration: attractive and valuing the profile and performance of the candidate.

 

Missions:

She/he will assist the project manager in the following tasks:

  • Execution and monitoring of project activities.
  • The Organization of workshops, training sessions, festivals … in relation to the activities of the projects.
  • The support for the implementation of a monitoring-evaluation system.
  • The implementation of administrative tasks linked to activities.
  • The organization of logistical aspects of activities.
  • Supporting reporting and reporting on the progress of activities.
  • And any other task relevant to the proper execution of the project, demanded by the project manager or The Voice of Rural Child Association team.
  • The organization and coordination of different activities with the partners and the organizational committee of the project.

 

 Eligibility criteria

  • University degree holder
  • Resident in Medenine
  • Experience in project management (2 years of experience)
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Excellent command of Arabic, French (and preferable English)
  • Computer skills, including common software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point etc.)
  • Team spirit, flexibility, good relationship, dynamism, passionate, the capacity of adaption and  initiative spirit are the qualities expected of the candidate
  • Available for work trips to Medenine and Tataouine.
